F.I.R.E. Event Cancellation Policy
The Fellowship of Interconnected Religious Equality (F.I.R.E.) reserves the right to cancel an event due to low participation or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable or unsafe to attend.
Weather causes us the most concern as many of our events are held outdoors within Nature. We will cancel an event for safety reasons including but not limited to the following circumstances:
- Unsafe parking or pathway conditions
- Heavy rain and/or winds
- If there is a risk of lightning, flooding, etc.
- Other unforeseen circumstances
Please remember that FIRE holds most if its events outside at Spoutwood Farm which is a semi wild location. Mother Nature will determine our ability to hold outdoor events at this location. The walkways and parking areas at Spoutwood are unpaved and the safety of these areas is subject to recent and current weather conditions. If there has been significant rain fall or high winds, unsafe conditions will occur and we will have no choice but to cancel an event.
Please look to our Facebook page, Website, and email for notices regarding event postponements and cancellations.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
Withdrawals, Refunds, and Credits
No refunds will be given for classes conducted by F.I.R.E., The Program Administrator, guests and/or members of FIRE.
If you are unable to attend your or complete your class, you may be given credit and scheduled for the next available class that is equal to or similar to the class purchased.
At no time are credit or refunds given to any self-study, on-demand online course.
In some cases, in which unforeseen events prevent a student from completing a course within the prescribed period, we may extend the student’s enrollment to a class or class session in the future; allowing the student to complete the class as originally intended.
The student must send to the class instructor or program director, a notice, and a request for an extension at [email protected] before the class program is scheduled to end. The Program Administrator will contact the student to make arrangements for the extension if he or she is eligible for that extension. Extensions will not be granted after the end date of the course or class session.
Eligibility will be determined on the student’s attendance record and previous numbers of extensions already provided.
Students will be required to check their email inboxes and spam folders for course content and communication. To ensure emails from The Program Administrator are not missed the following emails must be placed into the student’s address/contact list:
Students must check their email often for necessary class materials, notices and communications.
Adhere to the suggested guidelines for progression through the course. Notify The Program Administrator at the start of the session if you would like to follow a different timetable because of individual circumstances. If the mentor cannot accommodate you, we can try to provide you with an extension that will better accommodate your needs.
Keep copies of all of your homework submitted to The Program Administrator.
The student will be required to have and maintain adequate technology that will allow him/her to participate in and obtain each on-line class session, recording, and materials. The Magick Kitchen cannot be held responsible for any missed class time due to a poor internet connection(s) or technical difficulties. The Program Administrator will, however, offer an extension for any student who misses a significant portion of any class session due to technical difficulties.
